Travel to Brno

Although Brno Airport also provides several regular flights - Brno Airport - Scheduled Flights, it seems more advantageous to use the airport in Vienna or Prague with a wider range of connections and travel to Brno from there by train or bus.
Companies providing connection from Vienna or Prague are, for example, Flixbus (bus), Gepard (bus), Regiojet (bus, train), ÖBB (train), ČD (train). These companies usually transport to Brno, Main Train Station.

From Main Train Station (Hlavní nádraží)

Walking:

  • approx. 1.5 km (20-25 min) through city center - link

By Public Transportation:

  • Search for connection
  • approx. 5 - 6 minutes by tram to stop Česká + 5-min walk
    (line 4 - direction to Náměstí Míru, line 9 - direction to Čertova rokle or line 12 - direction to Technologický park)
  • approx. 4 minutes by tram to stop Moravské náměstí + 5-min walk
    (line 1 - direction to Řečkovice)
  • Tickets - you can easily pay by card directly on the tram/bus - "more about BEEP&GO!", or you can buy a ticket in ticket machines
  • Ticket price - app. €0.85 for 15 min, app. €1.00 for 60 min and app, €3.70 for 24 hours
